Dunlop Set Fast Plus is a rapid setting, thick and thin bed, powder-based wall and floor tile adhesive. The high bond, adhesive is suitable for fixing, porcelain, fully vitrified, mosaics, quarry and brick slips to walls and floors. It is fully water resistant, suitable for use in wet rooms, bathrooms, showers and areas of continuous immersion, such as swimming pools and contains porcelbond polymers for increased movement and bond - ideal for use with underfloor heating systems. Key Features •Coverage approx. 5.26m2 •Setting time 2 hours •Fast setting •Water/frost resistant •Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems •Suitable for use on plywood overlay •Suitable for use internally and externally Quality and Standards Dunlop Set Fast Plus conforms to EN 12004:2001 C2FT Instructions for use •Ensure the surface is clean, firm, free of dust, dirt, oil, grease and other barrier materials, as well as being strong enough to support the weight of the tiles and completely dry (check the drying times of different substrates) (Note. if using Dunlop Set Fast Plus in wet rooms, bathrooms, showers or swimming pools, use BAL WP1 waterproofing kit or Ardex WPC waterproof tanking system to first waterproof the area) •Mix the product with clean cold water; 3 parts powder to 1 part water - until smooth, lump-free consistency achieved •Using a notched trowel, apply the adhesive to the floor and wall surface (The size of notched trowel chosen, depends on the tile size, the surface being tiled, the profile on the back of the tile and the degree of coverage required - check out our wide range of trowels) •Comb to required bed thickness ensuring ribs all run in one direction •Fix the tiles before the adhesive forms a skin (typically 15-20 minutes at 20°C) (Note. if skin forms, remove adhesive and apply fresh layer) •Press tile firmly into the ribs of the adhesive and into position, with slight twisting/sliding action to ensure optimum adhesive contact (can be adjusted for 5-10 minutes after initial positioning) •Ensure you have left adequate joint spaces between tiles for grouting •Clean off surplus adhesive from tile face and between tile joints
