Surface preparation: Application surfaces do not require any special preparations. Remove the possible excess of silicone mechanically, as the thickness of the silicone should not exceed 3 mm. Always test a small area of sensitive surfaces first, to ensure compatibility.
Application: Apply Silicone Remover onto the material to be removed. Layer of the product should be 2 to 3 times thicker than the silicone bead, but at least 4 mm thick. Leave it for 12 hours, but no longer than 24 hours. The silicone will be digested over various time periods, depending on the layer thickness: thin layers in less than one hour, very thick layers require several hours or need the remover to be left overnight. When removing silicone from textiles or other absorbing materials leave the remover only for 30 minutes, as staining may occur in case it is left longer. Remove digested silicone with a wooden or plastic spatula or other blunt-edged tool that will not damage the surface.
Wipe silicone residue with clean paper towels. Repeat procedure if necessary due to the thickness of
the silicone.
Cleaning: Clean Remove residues of Silicone Remover with a sponge soaked with water and soap. Wash all tools and hands with water and soap immediately after use.
